Set up push notifications for Tridens EV Charge using a third-party solution. Once configuration is established and the configured notification action happens, push notification is expected on the targeting driver/customer device.

Push Notifications Provider Configuration

First of all, configuring the push notifications provider is required. Currently, Firebase is available. See System Configuration - Firebase Configuration.

Notification Template

In the next step, we need to determine the push notification template(s). To achieve this, go to Business Configuration → Templates → Push Notification Templates. There you can manage the message templates. Name the template, assign code as alphanumeric identifier, apply description if necessary and most importantly, enter the formatted content.

Notification Rules Configuration

Then proceed to the notification rules configuration. Go to System Configuration → Notifications → Notifications and edit your existing configurations. In the Publishers section, add and select new Push action. No need to specify any specific ‘Receivers’, as such notifications are headed to the action’s belonging customer device directly. See Fig. 1 below.
